02Why the Bootie?
The Bootie is a plug you can pick without pressure. It is not big, so you have nothing to prove, and it is flexible without being floppy. That makes it feel full but not strict.
Fun Factory calls the surface silky. The material is 100% silicone, skin friendly, odourless and hypoallergenic, and the toy is plasticiser free. So you can just wash it with soap and water.
What matters is the flat base. It is there to stop the plug from sliding too far. Every anal toy needs a wide base.
The description calls it suitable for beginners and connoisseurs alike. That fits the size: 2.5 cm across and 7.5 cm long. If you want something bigger later, this is a good starting point.

04How to start calmly
Take your time
Relax first. A bath, some touching or a warm moment helps. Haste is the enemy here.
Plenty of lube
Use plenty of water based lube on the plug and around the opening. With silicone toys, no silicone lube.
Go slowly and stop if it hurts
Bring the tip in slowly, breathe out and wait a moment. Sharp or painful? Stop.
Take it out gently and wash it
Pull it out by the base and wash it with soap and water. Let it dry.
05Good to know
- Only use toys with a wide base for anal play and always keep that base outside.
- The text says it can stay in for longer. Still start with short moments and listen to your body.
- Stop at pain, blood or a sharp feeling.
