02Why this oil?

Pina Colada shares its base with the rose version: a silicone oil, as the dimethicone on the ingredient list shows. The difference is the scent. Here you get coconut with rum, like a beach bar.

The brand calls the oil pH neutral and says it can double as a lube. That last part is a brand claim to hold up against your condom’s or toy’s pack, not to take as given.

The aroma is more exuberant than the rose. For anyone who likes sweet, a party; for anyone who prefers restraint, a reason to pick the rose bottle.

Here too: silicone toys and silicone oil do not go together. Use the oil on skin and pick water based lube for the toy itself.

03Massage candle or massage oil?

Two ways to start a massage. A candle sets the mood straight away, an oil is ready the moment you open the cap.

A general guide. Always read the pack of your own product.

This is for you if

  • You like sweet, tropical scents.
  • You want a massage that stays slick for long.
  • You want a playful oil for an evening with a wink.

Skip it if

  • You use silicone toys. The oil can damage the material.
  • You find sweet scents too pushy.
  • You want an oil that rinses off easily with water.

04How to use it

  1. Put a towel down

Oil and sheets are not friends. A towel spares your bedding.

  2. Warm the oil

A few drops in your hands and rub briefly. The first touch feels softer.

  3. Massage in long strokes

Start on the back or legs and take your time. The oil stays slick for long.

  4. Wash off with warm water and soap

Water alone is not always enough. Soap helps, on fabric too.

05Good to know

  • Contains silicone according to the ingredient list. Do not use with silicone toys.
  • An oil and a condom do not necessarily combine. Read your condom’s pack.
  • A strong scent can feel different on sensitive skin. Test a small spot first.
