02Why this candle?
A massage candle is a candle you use twice: first for the light, then for your hands. The wax melts into a warm oil that you spread over the skin. That turns a massage into an occasion.
With Exotiq you let the candle burn for 15 to 20 minutes. Then you carefully pour some of the melted wax into your hands. That waiting time is the point: you light it, pour something to drink and foreplay has begun.
The wax is made of coconut oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter and beeswax, with a vanilla and amber scent. The scent is warm and soft, not a perfume bomb.
At 60 grams it is a compact candle that fits in a nightstand. You use only part of it per massage, so it lasts a few evenings.
03Massage candle or massage oil?
Two ways to start a massage. A candle sets the mood straight away, an oil is ready the moment you open the cap.

04How to use it
Light it and wait
Let the wax melt for a while first. Put the candle on a sturdy, dry surface, away from curtains and paper.
Blow it out
Put the flame out before you use the wax. An open flame never belongs near your body.
Test on your wrist
Pour a little on your inner wrist. Too hot? Wait a little longer.
Pour and spread
Carefully pour some of the melted oil into your hands and spread it over the skin. Start on the back or shoulders.
05Good to know
- Never pour wax straight from the candle onto skin. Use your hands and test your wrist first.
- Oil can stain fabric. Put a towel down.
- While the flame is lit, never leave the candle alone.
